- Travel option (selecting Own Transportation means you will drive to the event and is eligible for an additional discount)
After clicking ‘NEXT’, you will be directed to the ticket holder information page. You may upload a selfie photo (optional) and fill in the full name of each ticket holder exactly as shown on their ID card or passport. Then, enter the email address to receive the e-ticket and booking confirmation, as well as a contact phone number (optional). Once all information is completed, select your preferred payment method.
Payment Methods
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and Thai QR Payment (PromptPay) using any Thai banking application.
Then, click the ‘NEXT’ button to proceed with the payment and complete your booking.
- Children aged 8 and under may enter for free when accompanied by a ticket-holding guardian.
- Tour guides may enter for free to assist their guests — 1 guide per 10 tickets. (Guide entry does not include access to the dining zone or the lantern-release area.) Guide lanyards can be collected at the information counter beside the main registration area.
E-Ticket
- After completing your payment, your E-Ticket and ticket link will appear on the confirmation screen.
- We recommend taking a screenshot in case the internet connection is unstable or unavailable at the event venue outside the city.

- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Shuttle pick-up period for travel to the event

Preparation Before the Event
- Check the event schedule and other information under your E-Ticket, as updates may be added.
- Prepare important documents such as your ID card or passport (in case officials need to verify the name matches your ticket).
- Bring essentials such as a mobile phone, power bank, personal medication, and comfortable walking shoes, as the event venue is spacious.
- Please check the weather forecast. As the Loy Krathong date is based on the lunar calendar, weather conditions may vary from year to year (some years it’s in early November, others in late November).

Because Chiang Mai attracts a large number of visitors during the annual Loy Krathong festival, accommodations often sell out quickly. We recommend booking your stay approximately 5–10 months in advance to secure suitable accommodation at a reasonable price and to ensure convenient travel to and from the event venue. Choose accommodation close to the pick-up/drop-off points so you can walk easily to the shuttle pickup, use the hotel’s shuttle service, or take public transport to the shuttle point and return safely after the event. Examples of convenient locations include Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center or Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC). We suggest booking through platforms such as Booking.com or Agoda so you can view room photos, compare prices, check the distance to the pick-up point, and confirm facilities before booking. - Not permitted: Pets, outside food and drinks, drones, all types of weapons, fireworks, personal sky lanterns, gambling devices, illegal items, studio lighting or professional photography equipment, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside the venue. Smoking is also prohibited in the event area.
- Permitted: DSLR cameras are allowed for personal photography purposes.
