The CAD Countdown Festival to 2027 in Chiang Mai (Lantern Release & Fireworks) seamlessly blends the rich Lanna cultural heritage with an international year-end celebration. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a traditional Lanna market (“Kad Mua”), a festive temple fair zone featuring local folk games, exquisite local cuisine, and a variety of cultural activities. The event also includes traditional cultural performances, Lanna dance, and culminates in an enchanting lantern release at night and the most spectacular fireworks display in Northern Thailand. Welcome the New Year with hope, love, and faith.

Objectives and Significance

To preserve, maintain, and promote Lanna cultural traditions for future generations
