The CHIANG MAI CAD SKY LIGHT OF FIRE FESTIVAL is a night of "Spiritual Cleansing" before stepping into the new year. It is an Annual Global Ritual in Chiang Mai where you can finally "lay down" your burdens. Stand beneath the "Heavenly Amber Cascade" falling from the sky, as if the heavens are listening and sending down comforting light.
Burn the Past, Light the Future
Burn away the past to ignite the light of the future. This is a global ritual of rebirth that offers a silent, sacred, and purifying experience before entering a night of celebration. Witness a multi-layered waterfall of fire—crafted by Lanna master artisans—cascading from a towering golden pagoda structure over a crowd holding thousands of Phang Pratheep (traditional clay lanterns). This spectacle utilizes ancient Lanna firework wisdom passed down through generations.
Connecting with Lanna Beliefs: The year-end Purifying Light Ritual involves lighting clay lanterns to ward off disasters, dispel bad luck, and pray for bright wisdom. The falling amber cascade symbolizes a "stream of enlightened light" descending to purify the soul.

- Live demonstrations by Lanna master artisans (e.g., crafting traditional fireworks, clay pottery, wood carving, weaving).
- A twilight atmosphere filled with the warm glow of lanterns and soft traditional music.
2. Healing Stations
An experiential journey taking you from "letting go" to "starting anew." Participants will engage in symbolic experiences, such as:
- Brushing off Bad Luck: The beginning of the spiritual cleansing process.
- Crossing the Bridge: Symbolizing the transition from the old to the new.
- Writing Your Burdens: Writing things you want to let go of, or your wishes, on mulberry paper.
- Hanging Wish Leaves: Leaving the past behind (the later it gets, the fuller and more beautiful the display becomes).
- Lighting the Phang Pratheep: Receiving the light before entering the climax of the night.
3. Food Zone & Fruit Buffet
- "Durian & Friends: Fruit Buffet Night": First come, first served! A special activity featuring an unlimited buffet of popular Thai fruits, led by Durian (Monthong), Mangosteen, Rambutan, Longkong, Longan, Pineapple, Watermelon, and Ripe Mango.

- Lanna Shabu Ticket (Hotpot & Fireworks):
- Includes the first set of Lanna-style hotpot for free (additional sets available for 500 THB).
- Access to all zones except the main Food Zone and the main performance stage.
- Food, snacks, and fruits are provided within the Shabu zone.
- Observer Ticket:
- Covers admission only. Does not include expenses for food or merchandise inside the event.
Shuttle Pick-up & Drop-off
- Pick-up Point: Central Chiang Mai Airport (Go Wholesale parking lot) — Starting at 17:30.

Remarks
Cancellation / Refund Policy
- Cancel 2+ months prior (Before Oct 29, 2026): 80% refund of the ticket price.
- Cancel 1-2 months prior (Oct 30 - Nov 29, 2026): 50% refund of the ticket price.
- Cancel less than 1 month prior (From Nov 30, 2026 onwards): No refunds under any circumstances.
